Keep in mind the GK was the third best selling car in Japan.. Makes me think Honda spent a bit of time on thinking out engineering...

It is interesting that though the Fit was #3 in sales in Japan, they dropped 41% from the year before. That's a non-trivial decrease.

 

Are sales down because inventory is low?

 

The JDM hybrid had multiple recalls. Perhaps that's why?

let me report some feedbacks here.
pros: nice handling, gas saver (i'm doing most city so ~36), in-car room for big driver (i'm 190lbs, 6ft), for 4 total (don't expect 5 unless 3 small at back), you got what you should have for a 2015 car, back-up cams, CVT give you very smooth shifting, and earth-dream engine is better than versa and yaris probably. for EX probably several things more.
cons: even the dealer refused admitting so i'm still kind skeptical here. here are the QC problem i encountered so far:
1) buttom cover fell off after first oil-change, dealer replaced;
2) front hood/bumper alignment problem. Not very precisely assembled, however this is a budget car;
3) window sealing problem;
4) above all, ROAD NOISE, WIND NOISE.
5) cheap interior.

I might keep this car cuz i think this car does its job perfectly for me and my wife.

 

This is me. My Fit is about 14 months old and about 26k miles. I have a 100 mile per day commute 95% highway.

 

i would think for a few thousand more you could probably get a new EX
