Hi. A while back I had an android phone as a spare, and an iPhone as my primary. I remember being able to use Google Now through the car, using the voice control button on the wheel. I just picked up a new android phone, and I really, really like it, but need Google Now to work. It's running a recent version of Android (5.1.1), and I thought I had turned on Google Now over Bluetooth, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I could try before I return the phone and go back to an iPhone?

 

If you use a screen lock, you may have to tell the phone that the car is a trusted device. Guessing, anyway.

What? Does you fit has a voice control botton on the wheel? Show me!!!!

You need to activate the gogole now. First what is your phone? Download google now launcher, activate google now via voice in any screen even if it is locked, goo to google now screen and ask to recognize your voice.

 

I just wish they would make the "Siri" button work with "OK Google" on Android phones. How hard is that to just pass voice through?
