Android Google Maps - Low volume?
When I use turn by turn directions on Google Maps with Bluetooth, the voice directions volume is awfully low compared to the music which temporarily pauses. Does anyone else experience the same? I try turning up the bluetooth and car volumes up but the music will do the same. I have an app that controls Notification and System volumes and are at max levels as well.
My phone only has a Bluetooth volume that affects both media and navigation at the same time. I did some digging and the iPhone seems to have a separate navigation volume setting somewhere but not Android. As another [Android] forum suggested, I turned up the volume rocker button while the navigation was voicing directions, and it made the volume muuuch better even though the music volume went up a tad as well. I need to leave the Bluetooth volume at max for navigation now and have less fine volume control over my music (went from normally vol 15 down to 10), but if I'm not using navigation I can simply lower the Bluetooth and turn it up max again for nav (doesn't seem like I have to wait for navigation to say something to turn it up like initially). Weird, but now I can actually hear the nice lady's voice.
