Oil Life Indicator

Oil Life Indicator
I have owned for 2015 Fit for about a year now. The oil change light went on around 7,500 miles so I took it in and got that taken care of. Now I'm at about 15,500 and it appears my oil life indicator is stuck at 40%. I don't recall seeing it go down in a while. I haven't been driving differently to expect the oil to last longer. Has anyone experienced this where the oil life indicator does not seem to change? Thanks.

At least on the previous generation, it generally only changes by 10% at a time. Give it some more time; 10% can be a good many miles.
It's possible they programmed the first oil change to go a little faster than usual since the engine is being broken in. I don't know for a fact whether or not Honda did that, but it's certainly something that they could have done.
