The Honda Fit and Volvo V60 Polestar look strikingly similar from the rear.

 

Those could not look much less alike.

Breaking news, 1991 Viper looks like a 1997 Sable from behind.

 

I also noticed that the Fit and the Polestar have a similar design for the rear, but the Polestar has brake lights that go all the way up and the North American Fit has mere reflectors. The Japanese Fit has brake lights that go all the way up.

The Fit mod for the rear brake lights is expensive. There is a thread where a couple of people here, Rottboy, for one, did the swap to the Japanese rear lights. They look good, are brighter and probably safer.

Yes, a friend just sent me that picture as well. In fact there is an aftermarket rear light that looks identical.

I had a Volvo C30 and people at work have said that my Fit has a similar look from behind.

 

How does it compare with the volvo? Is it worth all the extra money?

 

Any usdm light upgrades. I don't think those fight our cars.
