Rear Wipers and Reverse

I noticed last week that if I have the front wipers turned and I put the car into reverse, the rear wiper runs continuously. Good idea.

Intermittent if your front wipers are set to intermittent. If set to constant on the front ones so does the rear when in reverse. Nice feature for sure!

My last Honda was a '97 Civic, 305,000 miles. I traded it for the Fit.

I checked this yesterday, and my rear wiper runs steadily when I shift into reverse, even if the fronts are set to intermittent.

Odd, when the fronts are intermittent, the rear wipers twice then continues on the same intermittent cycle.
