Does anyone have a correctly installed moon roof visor?
I took delivery of my 2015 Fit EX in August of 2014. The moon roof visor that I ordered was not installed, and the dealership did a "hurry up drill" to install one. Within a day, it was apparent that the visor was not held securely in place, and I started a continuing dialogue with the dealership about having this corrected. The service supervisor agreed that incorrectly sized brackets had been installed without cushioning adhesive foam pads that come with the visor kit, that both secure the installation and protect the paint. I was told that as soon as Honda sent the correct brackets, I would be advised, and the problem would be corrected. After three service visits and inquiries during the subsequent 7 months, no brackets materialized. I am putting together a graphic poster presentation of the problem to make a final pitch at the dealership before my 2-year "birthday" arrives. If YOU have correctly installed moon roof visor and brackets in your 2015 or 2016 Fit, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. Failing dealership resolution (hopefully without further ambiguity regarding the existence of correct installation brackets), I will take my case to Honda Customer Service. Thanks very much!
I bought one from College Hills Honda and it didn't fit correctly either. After failed dialouge I decided to modify my front brackets to gut the front to pull down far enough so it seals and doesn't let the rain under the seal. I can take a picture and show you what I did if you like.

Thanks for your response G4P. Would you mind letting me know when you bought the kit from College Hills? And yes, I would like to see pix if not too much trouble. This is very telling, and would support the last word from my dealership stating that Honda had not produced the correct part. Since you're the only response at this point, it seems like there are few test cases out there, but I'm hoping for best perspective before re-joining the discussion with my dealership management and if necessary, Honda.
