Changing Headlight Bulbs - Gen 3

Was thinking of upgrading headlights to slightly brighter bulbs as I did in my Corolla.

Read the owner's manual and looked at online videos of older generations.

Is it possible to change the bulbs easily? Must the splash shields be removed?

Don't think the dealer would install other than standard bulbs.

Thanks.

Changing the headlight bulbs is extremely easy, and only requires you to open the hood for access. There's a rubber boot on the rear of the headlight assembly covering the bulb, pull it off to get access.

Headlights are easy to get to. And fogs you have to remove one screw on splash shield to open an access door to change them.

Thanks, thought the metal holder unswe the boot was an issue.

Nope, push in, move down, and it swings out of the way like a door to release the bulb.
