Squeaky drivers seat??

Bought my 2015 fit in June of last year. I notice when I get in and out of the car or move around in the seat it squeaks a lot. I don't notice it when driving as I am typically still. I sat in a new 2016 today at the dealer and it did not do this, however I don't think mine diid when it was new either.

I am a big guy (6ft 3 and 245lbs) but I don't think this should be happening.

Anyone else have this issue? I may have my wife sit in the seat and see if it happens with her as she is half my weight.

May take a video of it tomorrow.

Thanks
Ray

Mine does while driving. I'm close to your size.. 1 inch shorter and 10 lb heavier.. Probably due to our weight.

I have the same issue with my 2015 Fit, purchased in Dec. of 2014, and I am 5'11" and 186lbs. I'm going to have the dealer look at it when I go for my oil change in a few weeks. I've had several cars over the years, and I have never had one do this. I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing this though.

I'm apparently your twin. Same, and no squeaks.

My 2000 civic does this as does my wife's 2015 CRV (when I am in it but not as bad)

Please report back when you get it looked at.

It has been getting worse and actually getting a loud, sharp squeak Sound on certain hard road bumps. It was driving me crazy. I moved my seat forward one click and it seemed to lessen it. Last night I checked the two bolts in front and was able to tighten them nearly a full turn - squeaky seat issue resolved!!!!!!

It seems moving the seat up a click helped more than the tightening of the bolts. Having the seat centered over the brackets puts less stress on them and no squeaking. If I move it back all the way it does still squeak some.
