Rear LED Idea

Rear LED Idea
I was thinking about getting the upper LED tail/brake lights for my Fit, but I really like the look where you can't see the individual LEDs (fiber optic lighting?). Is there a DIY way to get that look? I was thinking maybe some silicone tubes to go over the LEDs, but not exactly sure how to go about it....
This is what I'm talking about. Would totally get these if I had an Accord, btw.

The JDM listing isn't anywhere. Takes to a "relisted" link that also doesn't exist.
And I was looking at those other lights too. Not sure about that design, but that is the style of lighting that I'm wanting. Doesn't help my decision that I'm used to the upgraded LED reverse lights that I put in my Fit, and I don't know what reverse will be like with those lights.

That would be awesome if you could do that!
Sidebar, I think I figured out the best way to get the look I want. I'll get frosted plexiglass sheets and cut/sand them down to size. Doing a little cursory research (aka the first forum post I found with Google), it does tend to crack when drilling, but someone said that sanding at an angle versus cutting will melt the unnecessary plexiglass away. That being said, I still need to figure out how to best redo the taillights. Maybe do basically two swoops from top (spoiler) to bottom (follow the outside line, including the turn signal when it's on?), similar to Volvo's of late?
Time for some Paint magic, I guess. I'll work on it later in the weekend. Anybody else have suggestions?

It sure does. The taillight are exactly the same on JDM and USDM fits.
To my knowledge on exterior only the front and rear bumpers are
different. As a fact I have JDM headlight on my fit.

Holy shit! Are those LED headlights?!

Those look sweet! I was throwing around the idea of swapping in an LED cluster from an Acura if I could find one that fit, but figured I should go with something a little easier (standard projector with LED DRL)
