Filled Tanks: $17.69 and $17.69

I filled my Fit at a Citgo, for $17.69. The following day, my son filled his at the same station for $17.69. Perfect example of a coincidence.

It's really not a fantastic coincidence since the cars are identical, and they both filled up at the same station one day apart. Still, I was surprised. Looking back, I saw that we spent the same to fill our tanks one other time, but the fillings were a few weeks apart. In over two years, we had the same amount only twice.

Heck, I can't even get the pump to stop at the even dollar when I'm paying cash!

I've given up on that. I don't even look any more.

With the pump stopping every time it gets to $17.69, filling your tanks could take a while.
