Would nail polish really work or is there a better "paint" for the steering emblem? I want to do a blue to match the lighting. Any ideas?

if you want to do it ghetto way sure nail polish or sticker would work

I said that in jest, but I believe it would work. I am a little surprised no one's made a color-matched emblem with touch-up paint yet.

Whatever you use, you'd need to clean and buff/roughen the area to be painted without dulling the chromed ring or H. For doing that in tight places, I use a hole punch in a sheet of appropriate grade paper (i.e. #3500) and glue the little circle to the eraser on an old-fashioned #2 pencil.

actually , in motorsport history honda enter the formula one in 1965 and in the 1966 ra273 and 1967 ra300 formula one the color of the badge use pretty much the same so red is for motorsport at least on front car for the steering it was withe H on black and white checkered flag backgroud
