Ugly/warn steering wheel emblem

Hello. Like many other Fit owners, my steering wheel emblem has peeled and now has partially exposed white plastic. I think it looks pretty awful. I've been considering the red emblem since I already have the red front and rear emblems. I think it's simply a sticker and I'm debating whether or not to pry out the current metal emblem for a more flush installation.

Is it possible to replace the centre leather horn part of the steering wheel only for a reasonable price? I could paint it but I don't want it to look like a grade school art project.

My car is a GD3 Sport. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The silver steering wheel H emblem is not a Honda part by itself. If you want a new OEM one, you have to replace the entire airbag.

I would go for the JDM red steering wheel emblem which is a sticker. So it sits more flush, I would remove the silver H emblem. You just need to take a pair of pliers to it and pretty much just rip it off. It's going to break into pieces as you do so.
