remove steering wheel "H" emblem

remove steering wheel "H" emblem

i just bought a J's Racing red "H" emblem for my steering wheel, and i wanna to put that on. does anyone know how to change it? do i have to remove the whole cover? is not safe that i just try to pop the emblem out with a simple tool right? will the airbag come off, if i do that? please help! Thank You!

Take a hair dryer to it. That will help warm up any adhesive underneath. After that I'd just be guessing, but I don't there's much else holding it on. After all, it's part of the airbag, wouldn't want metal bolts flying around in an accident. Let us know when you do it.

the j's racing emblem has "h" molded in the back to sit flush. all you have to do is lay it over the existing oem h.
