LED lamps: CAN Bus vs Regular?

I'm about to replace all the interior lamps in my Fit. My LED vendor has "CAN Bus" lamps and the same thing but without the CAN Bus. But they don't recommend one over the other for the 2016 Fit.

Which do I need?

(I realize this is a pretty dumb question...)

It's NOT a dumb question.

Some vehicle's CAN BUS systems rely on specific resistances to work as designed, so changing to the lower resistance LEDs will cause erratic operation.

If the answer isn't forthcoming (have you asked more than vendor, specifically?), I'd order the CAN BUS lamps to be safe.

I don't know the answer, myself.

I used "regular" (non CAN bus) LED interior lamps in my '15 Fit for dome, map, license plate and trunk lights. They worked just fine.

We put in regular generic ones for the all the interior fixtures without any issues. Hint: Make sure there's no power going through the circuitry when installing or you could definitely blow a fuse.

The LED replacements only work one way. If it does not light just reverse it in the fixture.

GK5 lamps are not CANBUS type. And LEDs are high resistance and they draw little current. If it were a CANBUS light system thosr Lights have internal resistors to present a load to the socket so the idiot dash light saying the bulb is burnt out stay off.
