Will this work in the 12v port?

I have a 2015 LX and would like to know if this will work in the 12v "cigarette lighter" type port to charge my phones?

Yes. I use it for my Garmin GPS, with same spring loaded tip. The owner manual says no cigarette type plug with heating element can be used.

Its the 12v port in the 2015. I assume that does not heat.
