Floor Mats

I just bought a 2017 Fit LX and of course it does not come with floor mats. I am looking for some after market carpet floor mats. Will the 2016 floor mats fit the 2017 fit? Also does any one have any recommendations for reasonably priced carpet floor mats?
thanks

Yes, 2017 and 2016 should be the same as the 2015. Floor mats are covered in several threads. Names include Husky, Arias, WeatherTech. Costs vary. Opinions vary too. Personally I have WeatherTechs front and rear and I'm reasonably happy, though I like the fact that Husky does a better job covering the dead pedal.

I just picked up a Husky Cargo Mat. It fits perfect on the 2016LX. I did have to let it warm up before installing it. Temp outside was in the 20F and I let it flatten out inside over night before installing it

I find my Husky mats squeak against the plastic near the centre console when the temp is cold. It has happened the last 2 winters.

I also find the Husky's slippery when wet. They have ribbing that goes front to back, rather than side to side, that I slip on when entering and leaving. Slightly annoying design.

Good to know about the Husky mat design. I ended up getting the OEM front and rear set and was uneasy ordering other than OEM with the GK model being new.

My dealer included OEM all weather mats. Great fit and easy to clean.

Had bad luck with Weathertech on my 2013 Corolla. Quick wear through on driver mat.

Interesting. We have had WeatherTechs in our Prius about a year now. They seem to be holding up well so far. I will take a closer look at the driver's mat tomorrow and report back.

I've got Weathertechs front and rear on our '15. I like 'em a lot, but have been wondering if it might wear through where the clutch pedal bottoms out on it over time, but.....not a big deal....perfect fit and easy to clean

I only use weathertech/husky liners in the winter. I personally hate rubber/plastic floor mats as they are ugly, but in our state the salt we use it's to protect the carpeting. easy to wash too.

dat said, if I lived in a warmer climate I would just use the carpet mats.

I've ended up using the Weathertech mats year round since the stock carpeting and the OEM carpet mats are such poor quality.

Hah!!! Yeah, stock "carpeting," if ya can even call it that. That's OK, though, I can live with cheap carpeting in a fun to drive car

Ditto. I live in the snow belt and the Weathertech mats are priceless in keeping the interior floor dry. They're easy to remove, clean up, and reinstall. All carpet mats do is soak up the water and keep the driver's side floor wet.

Finally drove the Prius again yesterday. WeatherTech mats are doing just fine.

3D Kagu Floor Mats & Cheap Custom Gen-3 Fit Cargo Tray

I went on a little online shopping spree this holiday weekend. Ordered a set of front+rear "3D Kagu" mats (variously branded 3D, Aries, Maxpider, U-Ace, etc.) from Amazon.

For a custom-fitted cargo tray, I couldn't justify spending $80-$100 (or more) when it doesn't get constant trampling and dirt like floor mats, so I took a chance on a cheap Chinese knockoff 2014-16 Honda Fit cargo tray on Ebay.

Also ordered a phone mount which I'll report on in a relevant thread.
