Is it ricer....

Making your own parts is called fabrication, and like most any project, the skill and craftsmanship you put into it will determine whether it's "rice" or "nice."
Make it nice enough, and you might have a business opportunity.

Having lived through the 90's being one of the crazy people who modified the Isuzu Impulse RS and a Geo Storm because I liked being different... I can say this is so, so true... Nobody made parts for Isuzu's, back then it was Honda civics or Mitsubishi eclipses.

An Isuzu Impulse! And here I thought I was the only one who ever bought one of those. Loved that mouse fur grey interior.

Depends on the quality of the fabricated product. This is my fabricated gauge pod for my boost gauge on my WRX. Basically, I fabricated it as a way to put the Speedhut shift light as far as I could in my field of vision. Maybe it looks ricer, if so I really don't care?
