Incoming Call Display

My iPhone 6s is paired with my radio. When I make outgoing calls using the phone book, I can see the name of the person associated with that number from my phone, on the radio display. When I receive a call, the display in the car shows only the phone number. Is there something I can do to have the name displayed?

Anyone? This is annoying. There must be a solution.

Hmm... I'm assuming that whenever you have this occur, the calling phone number is already stored on your phone yes?

Did you verify that your phone or all features are compatible with the car at the site linked below?

Find the iPhone, Blackberry, Samsung to Connect to Your Honda

Did you allow all access to your phone when syncing it with the Hands Free Link?

I have that problem in my CR-V, too. What trim level is your Fit? In my LX under the settings, you can change whether the name is priority or the number is priority. Hope this helps. BTW, this is my first post!

I have an EXL. Looking in the manual I can see what you’re referring to. I’ll have a look when I get back to the car after work.

On your phone, go into a contact and edit it. Add "+1" in front of their phone number. Save.

Start car. Phonebook will sync automatically. Incoming calls will now show their name on the screen.

Repeat for contacts that call you a lot.

That was the only thing that helped me.

I was unable to find this setting on my trim level. It looks like it's available with the color audio head unit only. I'm thinking LX.
