Goodbye HondaPartsOnline.net

It's been two weeks, and the order is still being processed. I'm cancelling the order and removing them from my life.

Did you call and ask for an update? Email them?

I emailed today (Sunday) asking about the delay. I'll call tomorrow and cancel. Whatever the excuse, I don't care. Two weeks with no contact about the delay? They had their chance.

You emailed a car dealership on a Sunday and gave them zero chance to reply. This is the most passive aggressive way you could do things.

I'd never order from a site that took 2 weeks to process.

The hold up is likely not them. They are turning around and ordering the parts from Honda distribution centers. Processing likely means they are gathering the parts.

I'd give them a call to verify and see if that's the case.

With most auto manufactures parts can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days depending on the particular part.

Hmm.. No matter what site I order from never takes longer than a few days to gather parts from distribution center. I just placed a few orders at a local dealer and they received parts in 2~3 days.
If you're going to cancel, I'd reorder from hondaacuraonline.com which comes from Ed Martin Honda in Indianapolis. Prices and shipping were very competitive compared to other online sites. Good Luck!

Passive aggressive?

I realized they wouldn't be open on Sunday, but I wanted to get an email to them for Monday morning. Then I got to thinking about what their reply might be, and I realized that nothing would satisfy me. What would they say? Very busy, we forgot, it's on order? They were quick enough to take my $225, but I've heard nothing from them since they confirmed the order.

I'll call when they open today and cancel the order. Then I'll try somewhere else. If Honda had a service manual available, it would make it so much easier to order parts.

I ordered mirror parts from Bernardi when someone sideswiped my car and broke the mirror. Delivery was fast. I would have ordered from them this time, but I can't find a diagram of the mirror, so I can't tell them what parts I want. The whole mirror is $450, and the camera is $250. Delivery adds about $30 more. All I need is three pieces of plastic for $225. I'll call Bernardi today and see if they can direct me to a parts diagram.

Thanks. I'll take a look. If I can't find a diagram of the mirror parts, I can't order. Even over the phone it wouldn't be possible without seeing the part.

Don't forget the FitFreak promo code if you order from Bernardi.

I've found Hondapartsnow.com to be better FOR ME to order parts. Even though they are in Cali and I'm on East coast, shipping isn't expensive and parts arrive quickly.

CollegeHillsHonda.com is also good IMO. Just recently ordered their horn kit and seat back protectors.

I just called and cancelled the one part (of three) that was on back order. Two parts have been sent, but no idea when. When I receive those two, I'll see if I need the third.

Thanks for the recommendations for other dealers.
