Air vents by the little front window

Air vents by the little front window

In my 2015, nothing ever comes out of these vents! The vents right under the little triangular side-windows just behind the windshield. No matter what position the vent dial is in. At least a little air comes out of every other vent - but not these 2. Is my car the only one that is like this? So why are they there if they don't do anything?

This one, correct? Been wondering that since I got the car. Doesn't seem to do anything, on any "normal" setting. Super curious as well about the VENT OF NOTHINGNESS

I won't worry about those tiny windows. Most importantly are the door windows so I can see out.

Yes, I wouldn't worry about it. And the door windows get plenty of air. But it seems peculiar that nothing comes out of the triangle-window vents. Actually, I put a piece of paper over them and found out that if I open the dash vent that is near it, the dash vent on the same side, the dash vent with a vertical wheel that can be used to open and close the vent, then a tiny amount of air does comes out of the triangle window vent. Barely enough to enable me to see that the paper is being very gently pushed up a little bit. But there is not enough air to feel with my hand.

Yeah, no air comes out of these vents in my car so I don't know what their function is.

I have found the car's ability to defrost/defog the interior windshield under certain conditions (high humidity and cold temperatures) to be poor - no matter what temperature setting or dial setting it is on. Maybe it's just my car that's doing this since I haven't seen any similar posts for this issue.

I agree there is little air being moved, but a small bit IS being moved, at least in my car (granted, it's a tiny window, so...) If fan is set on less that High, I can see nor feel nothing....if I put the fan on High, I can strips of toilet paper moving a bit and can feel the air on my finger if I wet it, you know, the old school way of tellin' which way the wind is blowing. But, yeah, it's pretty ineffective, but, by the same token, it doesn't bother me
