Roof rack to carry a road bike

I'm looking for something affordable. Doesn't need to hold more weight than a road bike. I just need a way to transport my bike across the country and I don't want to have a rear bike rack blocking my visibility. So far I've had trouble getting clear information on racks for the Fit, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

This is a roof rack I pieced together for my 2016 LX:

Thule AeroBlade 47" cross rails ($80/both used)

Exodus (off-label Thule in Europe) 480R towers ($80/all new on ebay free shipping)

Thule 1751 fit kit for the 2015-18 Honda Fit (clips at the bottom of the towers) ($80 new)

Rocky Mounts JetLine bike trays x3 ($60/each on special for odd colors)

...so around $420 for the entire system.

You can get pretty much any configuration you want as long as you get the right towers & clips. I'm sure Yakima has similar clips for their racks.

Note: I originally had bike trays that were designed to hold the bike with both wheels mounted. I'm a shorty at 5'4, and found it difficult to get both wheels onto the trays without a step stool - arms are too short! So I ditched those trays and went to fork-mount trays. Better aerodynamics and easier to get the bike onto the trays without a step stool.

Wild guess, but if the OP is moving cross-country, the assumption is that she wants a roof rack so she can haul most of her stuff inside and still take the bike.

It is nice to carry the bike in the cargo area, but it takes away space, have to extremely careful getting it in and out without scratching the plastic trims, and the greasy chain can mess up the cargo area. So, I bought an inexpensive 2 bike rear carrier from eBay. Have not used it yet, but it looks cool.

Curt Hitch $100, Harbor Freight hitch mounted rack, $39.
Doesn't affect my direct visibility - when using mirrors - but does get in the way when using backup camera.

This works good for me and doesn't block vision much.
