So I just got back from Japan and bought the COPLUS headlights (LHD, for quite a deal!) for our new Fit. Got the bumper off, and the wiring harness fit the high, low, and DRL's (position lights?) just fine, however the turn signal connector is not compatible.
Has anybody else installed these on a USDM Fit before? If so, could you tell me how you solved this problem? I'd prefer not to cut into the OEM harness, if possible.
I had them on my Fit. The turn signals do fit, I got them on without any real modification.
I don't have my Fit anymore so I'm going off memory here. Sorry.
If you look at your factory turn signal plug (where the factory bulb was), there is the plastic socket where the bulb plugs in. That plastic socket comes off the wire harness. You need to pop that off (there is a little hook type clip on one side) and the wire harness plugs straight into the coplus plug.
I gave it a shot, but still no dice. I'll attach pictures below to demonstrate the issue. Perhaps it is because these are the sequential turn indicator type? Were yours also sequential?

I think the 3 pins are (power/turn/hazards). It may be possible to make an adapter, but I'm not sure where to start. If anybody has any ideas, or experience in the matter, I'd really appreciate it!
