I have 15x7 +39 advan RG with 205/50 on my gk5 right now, i wouldnt go much wider without fender modification. Also, 205/50-15 is about 15mm shorter in overall height than the stock 185/60-15 so acceleration is improved like a shorter final drive gear, engine rpm is also increased at 70mph in 6th by 200-300 rpm.

Different angle. Once i do suspension, i figure the camber from lowering will barely allow the front tire to clear the fender. So 205/50 is going to be max tire size without fender modifaction on this wheel size/offset

most clubman or supercup tires are specd 190/580 slicks. Closest consumer grade tire size is going to be 195/55. For the rainy days in suzuka fit 1.5 challenge i believe they run 195/55 yokohama s grade tires.

nice mine is WOP as well (white orchid pearl) and trust me u will enjoy the upgrade to 205/50. Major increase in confidence through corners.

well , i still hesitate between 195/55r15 and 205/50r15 , i find there is more choice of brand in 195/55 size than 205/50 ...

195/55 will still be a very nice upgrade from 185/60 wich are probably slightly stretched to fit a 15x7

ya it is little bit stretch but it is a temporary solution , i put the oem tire on the new mag that get in the honda dealer in return for my used corolla , i put winter tire on steel rim

btw your ride look cool to

going from an old basic corolla to the fit is way more fun to drive , before it was like sleeping behind the steering wheel lol

hello cichlid , if i calculate on 1010tire it told me with 205/55r15 i got less difference vs 185/60r15, i think it 0.58% in diameter variance and if i compare to the 185/55r16 of the ex i got -0.56 % in variance , if i don't plan to lower the car , are the 205/55r15 will fit or it is better the 195/55r15

ho and my rpf1 15x7 are +41 offset

thanks
