That is the correct one for a 2018. I believe TH Motorsports usually has the best price, but always worth shopping eBay, Amazon, etc as well.

I live in a small city, surrounded by lots of fun country backroads, between Great Smoky Mountains Nat'l Park and the infamous Tail of the Dragon....I can definitely say the Progress bar is definitely noticeable and a definite improvement over stock (i.e., none). A lil pricey, but...worth it to me for my driving pleasure, and a super easy install.

Is this generally considered to be the sway bar to get? I'm buying a 2018 EX-L fit in a week or so, and a rear sway bar is one of the first things I'm planning on adding to it.
Yes, that is correct.

I used the website listed below to confirm fitment for you.

https://www.carid.com/progress-group...2#applications

You can also call Progress Technology and confirm fitment with them directly.

The best thing I did to my 2008 Fit was a beefy rear sway bar. It cured 80+% of the scary understeer and body roll, confirmed by Honda by its being standard on post 2008 Fits. It's possibly better being over 1" diameter. I'm a commuter and enjoy its' very improved handling. Truly a difference.

As for a rear sway-bar I'd say go for it. My last 3 cars I've added larger rear sway-bars & was very pleased with the results. Maybe I'm feeling the placebo effect, but I'm a happy believer.
yes, it's basically stiffening sheet metal. if you look under the windshield you'll see a span of sheetmetal already connecting the shock towers. the Tanabe bar stiffens it further and you will feel it in the steering feel. any additional brace ( and there are numberous ones available ) will improve the handling response of the car whether you race the car or not. highly recommended

im not truly a believer in rear sway bars, the entire rear suspension is one huge swaybar nowadays,if all 4 wheels had independent suspension, sure. bolting on a "bar" to a giant engineered beam designed to flex i 'm not sure makes a huge difference..maybe if you bolted on a tiny I -beam...lol...this is my OPINION...never tested.

yes the Ibeam acts as one big sway bar linking the rear wheels ,but think of it as reenforcing that ibeam even further. it does make a difference. you'll feel it in the steering response and on highway stability.
