Anyone have any tips or instructions on removal of the read windshield wiper arm?

I'd like to plasti-dip that ugly silver piece, and removing the wiper arm will make that job a lot easier. I'm sure I could figure it out if I tried, but I'd like to gather as much info before I attempt it, as to minimize breakage

This might help! I believe the 2nd and 3rd generations are very similar, if not the same, in respect to the removal process of the rear windshield wiper.
