Wrap all shiny black plastic trim around car?

I'm noticing the front brand plate, the shifter surround in automatics and the rear brand plate (right above trunk latch) are all made of this shiny scratch-prone black plastic. I'm thinking wrapping all of it in a nice shiny black vinyl (or any other color). Has anyone done this with success?

I have a feeling removing the shift surround might be a bit troublesome.

I've vinyl wrapped pretty much all the annoying plastic on the outside of the car. They were fingerprint magnets, and my front cowl was starting to discolour, even though I UV protect it.

Looks good calafricano!

Any suggestions on what wrap I should get?

Does anyone know how to safely get the shifter surround trim out?

thank you i appreciate it! thats plasti dip best stuff out there imo..it peels right off and lasts forever.
wraps can cost a lot of money.depending on what you want done.or if your going to do it yourself, its a lot cheaper.
i would go with 3m if your gonna wrap route.
