Mirroring navi on the phone to the car

I have been looking for an app that can mirror my maps on my phone to my 2016 Fit screen and still be functionally while I driving. It is not a perfect app but it works. All you need are the following. I am currently using a Samsung note 4. Your bluetooth will need to be on as well.

1. LG Mirror drive but an old version. The new version does not work which is 1.2.2.4. I am running an old version 1.2.1.2
-Once you download the app go to sound and notification. App notification and locate LgMirror Drive. Turn off allow notification.

2. DownLoad Button Savior(non-root)
-Open the App and click setup.
-Go down and click yes and then turn it on.

Connect your phone to your car using a usb (mirrorLink) and link your bluetooth. For some reason these two things has to be on or it does not work.

On your car screen, click the arrow on the right of screen to go to the next screen.
Click LgMirror Drive. You might have to do it a couple times. This is where some of the glitchy part is.

Now you can use your navigation system via phone to your car. The Button Savior is how you can customize your button and exit screen. It gets pretty glitchy though when you mirror link it to your car. But I manage to get it to work.

It is not perfect but it works.

Hope this help for all guys who is looking for an alternative.

That seems like a lot of work and glitchy, but thanks for sharing.

I just use Waze or Google Maps and with the right phone mount it works pretty well. I've got a 5.7" screen so it's plenty big.

I guess I'm old fashioned. I'm still using a dedicated Garmin I had from my last car.

Okay, I could be more old fashioned. On my Harley I still use road maps.
