HDMI Input
Hey all,
I just picked up a new '17 WOP 6MT last week and had a question about how to use the HDMI input for mirroring my phone to use google maps for navigation.
I have a Motorola Droid Mini phone. I purchased a MHL adapter, HDMI cable and USB adapter to power the MHL Adapter.
When I plugged all this stuff in and hit the HDMI source button I just get a blank screen and my phone never mirrors or shows up on the FIT HU.
Are there only certain phones that are compatible with of doing this or is there an app I have to download on my phone in order to get this to work?
Any info you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

I'm still learning about this system in my 2016 CR-Z but our audio units should show some similarities.
Make sure you have a MirrorLink equipped phone. From what I understand, there are apps that "emulate" MirrorLink but aren''t fully compatible with our cars. Once you confirm that you have MirrorLink, make sure it is enabled then connect the phone to the car via USB. At which point if everything is compatible, the phone will sync with the audio unit and two arrows >> (Like those) will show up on the right side of the unit. This will lead you to the apps available on your phone via mirror link. Some apps are usable at all times, some only when stop and/or with the parking brake engaged.
Here's a link to MirrorLink and a couple of youtube videos that may help you get more info or at least a better idea.

Found a video on youtube that used a Amazon Firestick to mirror your phone to the HU of the Fit. Plugged my Firestick into the FIT mirrored my phone to it and it worked.
So looks like thats the Navigation solution I'm going to be using for the immediate future.
