Smart Entry System Light on Dash, possibly creating parasitic battery
Hello!
Had the car since Nov. 2014. Fit Ex-L. Really great car, my favorite honda I’ve owned yet.
Smart Entry system light is on. Checked ACC fuses, and going to get a new battery for the fob, but it’s only 4 months old (2032 batt).
Also, my battery was losing charge, and I just replaced it, despite some argument with NAPA about where the problem lies. I say their battery, they say my electric system. But, now, I just swapped out the battery, and the smart entry light is on. Makes me wonder if it is trying to tell me that it’s the parasitic draw!
Anyway, if you can help get this light off or want to discuss why I’ve had four batteries so far in the car, please drop a post below.
Thanks, glad to have found the site!
