12-Volt Power Outlet

Just bought a new 2018 Honda Fit EX-L.
I have a portable Garmin that I use and tend to keep it plugged in all the time. Is the 12-Volt Power Outlet always on or does it turn off when engine is stopped.

I do the same thing with my Garmin. The power outlet goes off when you turn off the car.

My Garmin Nuvi 50LM is plugged in all the time. This model starts up (when the fob power up the electronics) and turns off automatically ( after 30 seconds when engine stops). No need to play with the off/on switch. Love the feature.
