Hondalink app issues

Hondalink app issues

How do I register? I've tried on the app itself and on the Hondalink site, but I can't seem to register my email with it. They both say this:

"We are unable to validate the email address at this time. Please try again later.
If this issue persists, please contact Honda/Acura customer service."

I've been seeing this message for a week now. Obviously I should ask my Honda dealer, but thought I'd ask here now, rather than later this week when I'm going over to see the dealer anyway for something else (I'll ask them then, if not answered here).

My email is a gmail account, if that's what's causing the problem. Would be odd, imo, if they were to exclude gmail accounts from making a Hondalink account though.

I was able to register with my gmail account; odd that you're not able to.
