Fellow in need of Tranny Fluid advice

I took my Honda Fit Gen 3 outside of town, parked it and came back to a large puddle of fluid. Somewhere along the way I hit a piece of debris. The location is rather remote (Riley, NM) and I need to move it into town to fix the tranny proper. The fluid I put in will leak out, albeit slowly. Since I live in a remote area anyway (Magdalena, NM 150 miles from a stealership) is there a replacement to the expensive Honda Fluid I can use to get it to a garage to work on it in peace?

Thank ya'll
-Elmer

Manual or automatic? If manual you can, according to the owner’s manual, use 0W-20 or 5W-20 motor oil as a temporary measure. If you have a CVT you’re SOL for a substitute.
