I have some harbor freight ones that clear without issue. Have you tried putting a couple short lengths of 2x4 in front of the ramp to get a little clearance? If it works that's a cheap fix.

I made my own ramps from three layers of 2X10” boards. Yes, they’re heavy, but they won’t collapse.

Yeah. I bought an affordable heavy duty plastic set from somewhere, way more than adequate for the flyweight Fit.... (Autozone? WalMart? can't recall, as I hate both places ) They work fine on both ends of the GK, no clearance issues at all <edit> OK, I went and checked, apparently they're some form of Blitz USA ramps, bought at WalMart, according to a sticker on one of 'em … they work just fine. All bets are off if you're car is lowered

Been using a set of Rhino ramps for years for everything from our Fit to an F-150. Bought them about 15 years ago when my metal ones bent under load. Won't go back to metal. Happy with HD plastic.

i use race ramps. no need for extensions if GK. great quality, no slip, and light weight for its size.

  • 12,000 pound GVW
  • For use with tires 9" in width
  • Made in the U.S.A.

those look like Flatstoppers i have from raceramps. but those look like more for people who don’t have low profile hydraulic jacks.. just raising the car enough to get a jack under there. you can do that with a piece of wood for like $0

I bought the Rhino ramps as well and used them for my one oil change to date. No issues.

If you want to jack the car up on wooden blocks THIS is how it's done (although I'd design the blocks to accommodate a hydraulic jack):

that’s clever but scary. there are jack stands that bridge over a hydraulic jack so dat u can lift using the factory jack points.
