I searched, but could not find any threads with a similar issue.

I have had intermittent (like maybe 3 times in the last 3 months), audio issue with the stereo. It makes similar sound to AM/FM radio signal going in and out, static-y with audio coming and going, kind of "pulsating." However, it is not the radio, it is Bluetooth connected to my phone playing Spotify. The only solution I have had is to turn the radio off and back on. If I try pausing(or even closing) Spotify and starting playing again, it doesn't fix it. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my phone, the head unit, Spotify, or the BT connection. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

 

time to run some tests/troubleshooting:

-try another phone, does the problem persist?
-dont use spotify, try another app. does the prob persist?
-try your phone + spotify in another persons car (pref another gk5) .... does the prob persist?

please report back, im curious of the outcome

 

I will try those out! It's such an intermittent problem that it will be hard to test
