humm... yah, i suppose the 17's (current gen impreza) is better on mpg vs the 16 impreza, but still not at the level of the GK's. but that is a KILLER price imho.. ive driven the impreza and it is leagues better and more compliant/comfy ride than the GK. GK to me is a bouncy little mess when i get into it each time.. great for short surface-road errands but would not want to drive that for long distances everyday.. but then im not so young either so..

We're in our 60s and take our Fit on a 5k trip every summer (4 years). It's really terrific to drive for long distances.

Exactly. It's a lot more money too. It's also slow with only 152 horsepower and is only a 5-speed manual. I also don't find the interior quality any better than the Fit. It weighs more than my Si with 53 less horsepower. I'm in Canada and see a lot of winter but AWD is overrated and not worth paying extra for. For a few years there I used to drive a Miata in the winter. It was a blast.

We've taken the Fit on long distances and you're right, it's fine. I just prefer the additional horsepower the Si has for longer highway drives.

Well, after almost 4 months our Platinum White Pearl 2019 Fit Sport 6MT has finally arrived! We pick it up on Friday. Really looking forward to getting back into a Fit. Both my wife and I have missed ours and hopefully this one is as reliable as our 2018 was. We also have a Tonic Yellow 2019 Civic Si coupe on order that should be here by the end of May and a Racing Orange 30th Anniversary MX-5 that should be here early in August.

Wow you only drive manuals? Amazing , there are like 5 people north of the Mexican border that can say that. I own two manuals, a Subaru BRZ, and a Honda Fit LX MT, but I think I am the only one in my neighborhood that has 2 manuals. I would not be surprised here in California, where coffee and food is far more important than the fun of shifter.

My other vehicles are a Ram 1500 Ecodiesel AT and a big RV that is of course a Ford 6 speed AT. And a 4Runner AT (3.4L as well).

I must be one of the five then. I bought my first new car in 1979 and it was a manual. I've owned and driven NOTHING but manuals for the past 40 years.

While I don't have the fleet that you do and I'm well north of the Mexican boarder (Nashville, TN), almost all of the cars I've owned, including the '15 EX Fit 6 spd. And I'm 78
