So about 2 months ago my wife hit a deer in my 2015 Fit. It caused $7800 in damages, insurance did not total it. Last week my motor started shaking a bit after I would come to a stop and idle. This past Friday I was off work because of the rain. I went and filled up my gas tank and went through the car wash. While I was in the car wash my vents in my car quit working properly. I switched from vents and feet to just vents and the air quit coming out of my vents all together with it on full blast. Long story short with all of the other things I had wrong with the car, that one pushed me over the egde and I went to the dealership and got me a brand new one! Platinum Pearl White 6 speed manual transmission. I freakin love it.
Congratulations. Do you think the damaged vent system was the result of the accident? That, it was not noticed as part of the original repair? Not my faults, but when my cars get hit I negotiate and take the settlement without the repairs and sell the car, as is. I never by or keep a car that has been "repaired"

I do not think it was from the damage of the accident, I think it was caused by wear and tear of switching vents over time. My new car just went back to the dealership for a few days because it had a leak in one of the lines for the air conditioner and leaked out all the Freon and would not get cold. Less than 500 miles on it lol.
