I am going to be buying a 2019 Honda Fit EX model in the next two months. Here in NM we went for 5 months with no cars, due to the flooding of the plant in Mexico. I have test driven a couple of them, and I am impresssed with Honda Sensing, including the new cruise control. These are features still not found on other new cars. I tested the 2019 Kia Soul, and I liked it a lot. But it lacked the new safety features, and also got terrible gas mileage. I already have a buyer for our 2008 Honda Fit, so making this trade will not be costly.
We have always received over 40 mpg on our Fit, over 11 years of driving. I have replaced the windshield once. We have found a 3 rd party auto shop where they will switch the front seats, which are black, into Leather seats in a color we like. I intend to pursue that, as the cost is only $800.00
Our 2008 Honda Fit has been extremely reliable, with still the original brakes and windshield wipers (it rarely rains in NM). We are just waiting for arrival of Spring....which has to come eventually.

 

At times I wonder if some auto-writer or marketing person needs some real world input so they go out on a single post fishing expedition.... I lack the ability to ignore first time posters.....facepalm..
