3rd Generation GK Specific DIY: Repair & Maintenance Sub-ForumThreads discussing repairs and maintenance you can do yourself on the 3rd generation Honda Fit (GK)
Anyone is aware of possible OEM replacement for original A/C condenser? Or any other compatible parts produced for other Honda models (e.g. Fit/Jazz 2nd Gen, Civic, etc.)?
A/C condenser was damaged by rocks and the condenser is leaking. I know some parts and consumables are compatible with 2nd gen and some other compatible with Civic (e.g. brake pads from 91-95). Could be even more. The question is if there are any affordable spare parts for A/C condenser replacement?
I own a 3rd gen Fit bought in US but live in Eastern Europe. Ordering original parts from US will take months. And it's 30ºC summer now. (Gosh, I wish I used some mesh to protect a/c condenser soon after buying).
Honda Fit 2015 A/C Condenser
Upd. Looks like originally I used to have one produced by Sunbelt Radiators (SKU SBC4441), compatible with Honda Fit 1.5l L4 2019 2018 2017 2016 2015. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find more info at manufacturer site. (think I can post a link here?)
Some local repair shop offered me a very similar condenser (SKU ST-HD77-394-0), told me that it is an original part and many 3rd gen Fits has it installed, however it looks like this is only true for 3rd gen Jazz, but not 3rd gen Fit. It has a same overall dimensions, but different mounts positioning and the openings are slightly shifted to the left and the lower one is rotated by 90º. So I returned it. And keep sweating. D'oh!
