Yes, it might tell you how but the first time I went to change my cabin filter the brand at the discount auto parts store didn't fit correctly. It had different dimensions than the OEM. I landed up buying a genuine Honda at the dealer. Next time I can probably shop the OEM online for a better price.

while OEM parts guarantees fitting, isn't it a little bit expensive?

It was a little over $20 with tax. Probably 50% more than the aftermarket that didn't fit

I've already cleaned my k&n engine and cabin air filters twice, and they are now on their 3rd life cycle. Most def not cheap purchases, but so far they are returning on their investment

Speaking of air filters, can anyone see if they can help me clear in thing;

Recently, decided to change my CABIN AIR FILTER behind glove box.

The plastic cover that holds cabin air filter has arrow POINTING UP.

But every guide that I saw advice to put cabin air filter with arrow POINTING DOWN .

@_@ which way is it correct? Arrow point up or down?

Ps. I am referring to 2018 Honda fit (gk5)

Simple mistake to make. Or if you bought the car used, someone other than Honda installed it upside down.
