Drain Plug Torque Specifications?

Does anyone have the torque specifications for the oil and transmission fluid drain plugs on a 2017 Honda Fit EX?

Thanks,
Kelly

Assuming the specification has not changed since my GE and your GK, my owner's manual calls for 29lb/ft (39N/m or 4.0kgf/m) of torque.

The trans fluid drain plug is roughly 35lb/ft, if memory serves. (Google says 36)

already answered in the K.I.S.S thread:

theres even a sweet youtube video on how the process is done

as for the 2nd question, someone on here shared access to the Chilton Library, you could easily utilize that to locate TQ specs for the trans fluid drain plug.

I have never had a car come back from a service with that bolt only tightened to 30lb ft. Generally they’re on tight enough you have to kick the wrench to have it release next time. In other words, I wouldn’t worry about it. Nobody else is.

Draw line with permanent black sharpie on nut and on pan that line up before removal . Used this for drainage of manual tranny .
