Rumble under braking
2015 LX CVT
On a few occasions under moderate-hard breaking, a rumbling sound appears. Almost sounds like a bad flat. Sound seems to continue even after the brake pedal is released. Sound stops when car approaches 0.
Trouble is, I cant reproduce it. Splash shield is already off. Could it be rotors? They and the pads are original. 100,000 km ...mostly highway/freeway driving.
When I did the spring tire swap, pads were at about 4mm from memory. Was gonna change them before this winter.
