New Fit Owner - 2015 EX

I bought my first used car in the spring, I didn't have as much time (or resources) to shop around as I would've wanted but I came away with a well-maintained, one owner, manual transmission Honda Fit 2015 EX. Unfortunately, it had about 135,000km on it already (about 80,000 miles). It was that or older 2008/2010/2014 with around 100,000k, without as much service history, so I figured it was better to go with the newer. I had it inspected by another mechanic that I trust, he found no concerns and I have a dealership warranty to 200k.

I've had the oil changed once and the dealership mentioned that the serpentine belt needs to be replaced at my next oil change, it's not covered under the warranty because it's the normal time to change it, or something. Have had no problems with water leakage or other common Fit things that I've read online but there's something a bit weird about how it accelerates, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It just feels a bit more finnicky in 2nd and 3rd gear than I've noticed in other cars I've driven.

A couple of questions I have:

- should I be concerned about the recalls?
- would it be worth ditching this car for something with less mileage once I've paid it off (should be within the year)? If so, is it worth trading it in or should I try to figure out how to sell privately?
- I'm hoping to learn more about basic car maintenance so I can better keep an eye on how it's doing. That being said, what kind of newbie things are safe to do myself without fucking anything up, coolant fluid top-ups? Maybe learning to put snow tires on?

Thanks for reading!
