I have the car at the dealership right now. My friend drove it in this morning and said that there is an issue it doesn't get cold.

Now comes the issue of trying to find out why

If the dealership blows you off and says that is normal, you may have a difficult time quantifying your complaint since room temperature is subjective.

I'll repeat my previous suggestion. Go to Walmart in the housewares section and buy a $10.00USD digital meat thermometer. Stick it in the center AC vent and read the temperature (it will read either F or C). You have a number to put in front of them and get them to work on it and too verify if they fixed it.. I would like to see the temp go down to 40F to 45F while driving down the road. If it can not make it there you have a complaint and a number to give them.

I like one like this one the best. I have several around:

AcuRite Digital Meat Thermometer, 00641W: Kitchen & Dining : Walmart.com

here are some others:

AcuRite Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer 00295

Char-Broil Digital Pocket Thermometer-6489284P at The Home Depot

85 outside and Not cold inside

I finally took my first test drive in a LX CVT Fit. The Fan seem much quieter than my previous 2012 base fit but it really didn't get that cold inside and them temperature outside was indicated as only 85.

The AC will not be adequate on a really hot day based on the Fit I test drove.

PS I am impressed with how quiet the 2015 fit is and how well it rides over bumpy roads. Big improvement over previous Fits. Power and road holding were not as impressive.

Good luck, hope they sort it out. Didn't know they had third gen fits in Canada already!

I would call corporate and complain if the dealer is not helping. That is full on bull, my AC is ice cold many times, I have to turn it up or the fan down.

Mine just start blowing luke-warm air (not cold at all). Taking it to the dealer Monday to fix.

Ive been to the dealer 3 times now, They have reclaimed and recharged my system twice now and it still doesn't get cold cold. The only thing they keep telling me is that the system is to spec and there is nothing they can do. Its been like 95+ everyday in SoCal lately and the best temp I can get out of my air vents is 55 degrees. Every day I drive my new fit the more and more I want to burn it to the ground. There are so many fuck ups on the new fit I cant believe they released the car. They AC system,Bumper sag, front driver A pillar warped, and now i am noticing white spots on the out side of the windows and they don't come out. I went down to the dealer yesterday to check out a brand new 2016 and it has all the same problems. Including the white spots on the windows.

They fucking told me it's because I drive in Econ mode!

I'm taking it back again, but yeah, there's a bunch of small things that my wife's 2013 didn't have.

I'd consider the 2016's only if they are made in japan.

Seems we had white spots all over too. Bird poop on the train from meh hee co? Hmm, or hard water here in SoCal. Either way, I think I washed the car with some vinegar, claybar'd and waxed and all the spots are gone. I even used the bar on the windows. Came out nice, just required some elbow grease.

Mine does not cool down adequately. At the same temperature, it cools down much better if it is cloudy out - sunlight through the windows heats up the car. Takes a good 10 minutes to reach a comfortable level, then I open the door for just a few seconds, and the cabin heats up again. Takes another few minutes to cool down again.

The air is cooler when running the car at highway speeds. As soon as I stop for a traffic light, the cabin starts to warm up, actually starts to become uncomfortable. Start moving, and the cabin get fairly comfortable.

I've found that the large expanse of black plastic under the windshield is almost painfully hot to the touch. It seems to be reflecting heat into the cabin. I'm not sure if it helps but I like to put the airflow choice on defrost for awhile, to cool of this area of plastic. I suspect that a dash mat would help the cabin remain cooler.

With outside temp at 90 degrees F, I'm getting 55 at the vents, with the car at idle.

I suspect that a cargo area cover may help too - by reducing the size of the cabin.
