2017 Temperature knob replacement

The temperature knob in my 2017 Fit stopped turning a few weeks ago, so I brought it in and they said they had to remove the dash to replace it. It took 3 days, and they fixed it.

However, now there seems to be a bunch of scratches on the temperature panel, as well as on the steering wheel. The temp panel I can understand, but would they have had to remove or do anything with the steering wheel to fix the knob? I'm not sure what they even would've been doing in that area.

Your Fit should not have come back with damage caused by them fixing things under warranty. Take it back & have them fix the damage they did. Sorry this happened to you.

I should not have come back with scratches after they fixed something, but that seems to be what happened. So if that is what happens when they fixed something, it seems logical to think that having them fix the scratches may result in scratches somewhere else.
