So I ended up scoring a set of JL 10Tw3s and a new complete Morel amp and component set as well.

Initially I was just looking to upgrade from my RF coaxial speakers (upgrade 1) to the Hertz components and Kicker amp (upgrade 2), but now I’ve gone deep and have everything installed.

Made a sub box that fits in my trunk, and I wanted to share photos of what a similar setup may look like.

Upgrade 1 took a day
Upgrade 2 took a week
Upgrade 3 took a month.

Tuning the EQ is a pain but getting close to something I like. Really wish I had a calibrated mic and RTA but I’m broke and going back to school so I need to save up.

I have to re-equalize my system, but still running strong. So far no issues with the winter weather, fingers crossed it makes it to spring. Happy new year
