Missing Aux Input Jack in EX
A great many automotive sound systems (and in fact, a lot of non-automotive equipment) use drivers from Foster. I am never surprised to find Foster drivers in any car system. They are perhaps the most popular source for commodity transducers. Even major "speaker companies" use Foster drivers, and in many cases, they sound just great.

I have a Sirius docked radio that I used to just plug the AUX OUT into the 2008 Fit AUX IN, worked great. I now have a 2015 Fit and am using the sat radio's built-in FM transmitter which is marginal at best. I picked up one of those new USB sterio sound adapters which have a 1/8" port for headphones and a MIC. This adapter did not work. So the answer so far is: 2015 EX/EX-L Fit is NO GO for AUX sterio input.

Yeah, I use Aux-In on my 2008 Fit, for a variety of sources. It works as well as long as the source and cable are good. I'm considering a 2015, although I might not be ready to buy until MY 2016. I would install an Aux-in if possible; I'd have to check out the head unit to see if that's possible.
I just purchased a 2015 Honda Fit EX a couple months ago. Mechanically, it is a fine car, but I am very disappointed by the lack of an aux port.
I'm not an audiophile, and I have never had any issues playing music through an aux port. I only listen to music in the car, and I only listen to music through my click-wheel iPod. When I want to switch albums/songs, I can do it in a few seconds.
Now, however, I am forced to plug my iPod into the USB interface and use the horrible HondaLink interface to switch albums/songs. For me to change songs on my iPod, I have to make about 11 "taps" on the screen (I counted). That's assuming I don't hit the wrong button and have to start all over.
Besides being a major inconvenience, it's a significant safety issue. While I'm tapping the screen those 11-12 times, that's a major distraction. As far as I'm concerned, it's worse than texting while driving. Hell, even switching between iPod to AM or FM is a pain in the butt.
It's now a chore to switch songs/albums. I fail to see why Honda felt this was a good idea. What baffles me is that they switched out the Aux port in favor of HDMI (?!?!?!). So now I have an HDMI port and two USB ports, but no AUX port. That just seems poorly thought out.
This issue is significant enough to me that, if I knew then what i know now, I wouldn't have purchased the car.
Now that I've sufficiently ranted, I'm open to the possibility that I am missing something simple here. Do I have to go through HondaLink? If there's a way I use still control my iPod from the click-wheel while still using the USB port, please let me know.
Thanks!

I've been having similar issues with my parents Civic EX and a major reason I don't want the Fit EX. Bluetooth always degrades audio and the lack of an AUX jack show someone somewhere has no idea about technology. I might be ok with it if the interface wasn't as horrific as it is to try and switch devices. Heaven forbid you have 2 phones in the car because you will spend all day trying to figure out which is supplying the audio and which is connected as a phone.
If the audio quality is you biggest concern, I suggest finding an Equalizer app that works with bluetooth. I use an app on Android simply called "Equalizer". I think it was a few bucks to upgrade to the full version but it's WAY worth it. With a little tuning you can compensate very well for poor stereo's or the loss of quality over bluetooth. Is it perfect? No. But it can make things sound way better than without it.
