FIT Infotainment and HVAC Wiring Diagrams
FIT Infotainment and HVAC Wiring Diagrams
Here are the wiring diagrams for the head unit and climate control. Why Honda didn't enable HD radio in the EX is beyond me.
Adding automatic climate control looks like a huge job as the US fits don't have the blend door motors. Even if you wired it in you still have to deal with the programing configuration so it would communicate with the rest of the can network.

What is the difference between the two audio system wiring diagrams (sheet4 and sheet53)?
I was looking over the audio system wiring diagrams to see if there was some signal that told the audio system that the car was in driving mode but I could not see one. I would like to enable Google Maps via a Chrome Cast HDMI dongle but the video cuts out when the car is in motion. Any ideas?
One is climate control the other is the head unit.
That signal is probably fed through the CAN network. Most likely from the instrument cluster module. You would have to interrupt the signal, or modify the software in the head unit or the hondalink app.
Or you could hack the lanewatch cameras coaxial feed and inject the signal there and press the lanewatch button. That is if it uses a standard CCTV signal and you could find a converter.

You may be onto something here...I need to take my mirrors apart so I can add my heated EX-L side mirrors to my EX 6MT Fit. If the connector is accessible I will check. Adding a 2 channel switcher to accept lanewatch and HDMI input from say a phone, it just may be possible.
Here is the converter:
Skysonic SDI-HTS003W HD-SDI Converter - 1 HDMI Input / 2 BNC Output
Here is the Switcher:
Ocean Matrix Composite Video BNC Input Expander OMX-VIDEO2-AB
Again, all dependent if the lanewatch camera uses such a connection. Not cheap for the components, and time consuming to install.

I tried to access "FIT Infotainment and HVAC Wiring Diagrams" (https://drive.google.com/folderview?...kU&usp=sharing) that you shared on Google drive. But it shows the following error.
"This folder is in the owner's trash

Can you please share it with me. My email is crwbasnayake@gmail.com
Thanks,
