Radio Unit SD Card

I've seen a couple places mention that there is an SD card that is included on Fits with Navi units. I'm assuming this is used to store the maps for the unit, and possibly more. This leaves me with a couple of questions:

1. Do non-Navi Fits have SD cards installed in their radio units?
2. Has anyone dumped the contents of one of these SD cards?

I'm working on hacking the display interface, starting with the HDMI lockout and any information anyone has is appreciated! I'd rather ask first and then tear apart my dash

I'm researching this. Im assuming there are two versions of the SD card for Navi & Non Navi. There may be hardware differences that prevents the swapping of them though. Like most situations there is the official answer, and then there is the backend answer that breaks down the plausibility of one's inquiry.

According to both the documentation and the diagnostic menu, it looks like there are SD cards on every audio unit, Navi and non-Navi. They seem to hold the applications that run on the unit.

I get some hardware in for sniffing the CAN bus on Saturday, so I will probably pull apart the dash then and see what I can pull off of the card!
