Polk db 651 Speakers

I have the upgrade bug, and installed 4 of these today. I listened to several speakers, and thought the Polks sounded good.

I'm using the stock head unit and amp, but was surprised that the stock speakers seemed to have substantially more low end. I'm looking at installing a small sub to round out the sound, but the speakers almost seem as if they're "out of phase".

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Could you tell me the location of the six speakers in the EX? I'd like to consider upgrading my speakers for better sound without changing the radio or adding any amps.

Speaker Location

There are 2 tweeters located on the top of the dash. There are 4 6.5" speakers in each of the doors. Plenty of videos and pictures online regarding panel removal (I liked this series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5TQ...ature=youtu.be).

Removing the door panels is pretty easy; after doing the first speaker, the rest were extremely easy.

Great instructional video. Thanks for sharing this. I've only had the Fit for 2 weeks, but am already considering just a speaker upgrade with no mods. The video refers to Crutchfield, whom I've purchased from many times in the past.
